On our alpine crossings and especially on highly frequented routes we repeatedly find and collect trash that's been dropped on the way, and we take it down to valley. It doesn't hurt us and it definitely helps our mountains and beautiful scenery.

It usually starts with a statement like "I know somebody ..." and that's exactly what happened in our case too. A friend of mine told me about #estutnichtweh and it clicked immediately since #ETNW stands for values that we at Hyphen-sports and I personally share. Soon after meeting with "power woman" Renate and handing over a box of fabric remnants for first prototypes the "Drecksackerl" (aka trash bag) was born. We're very happy that our fabric remnants are used in such an awesome and useful way.

It's about our habitat and the landscape we love to be active in so much. Our club has been existing since 1881; back then mountains of trash were not a topic. Today, trash is a big issue in our natural environments and even in our mountains - we cannot and we don't want to ignore that! For the future we want to make sure the environment and the protection of nature plays an important role in our club life and we'll pass that on to our next generation, too. #ETNW is small contribution to a big change in thinking - we say: that rocks!
